Welcome to ORE. I just bought an '87 YJ and I used to own a '90 YJ.

Please describe the problem you are trying to solve in detail. Will it start? Is it sputtering? Will it idle? I sold my '90 YJ because it stalled everytime I stopped at a red light or stop sign. I got real good at applying a little bit of gas pedal with the side of my foot while pressing on the brake. Otherwise, it ran great at speed. After the carb had been replaced for the 4th time, I gave up. It obviously wasn't the carb in my case.

Does it have the 4.2L motor?

Thanks,

John
