Any of you fools ready for the HAMMERS?
« on: August 02, 2010, 10:57:01 PM »
The ROCK BRAWLERS are having our annual mid-summer night run at the world famous Hammers the evening of Sat, Aug 21 into the morning of Sun Aug 22.

We will be having a little BBQ going, starting around 4ish (donations accepted) and we'll have some shirts for sale so bring your cash.
Trail runs will get organized 6-7ish, heading out around 8pm. We will split up groups and decide on trails on the lake bed.  Wheel all night and into the morning.

Here is the trip report from last year.  You may have to register on our board to see it.

Hope to see you out there.  May actually be the first actual wheeling trip for the Courier!

Hmmm, I posted that on three other boards, guess I'd better check the link there too!

I don't know about coffee, but there is usually a lot of Bud Light out there!   :icon_biggrin:

That sounds like fun. I am out in Phoenix taking care of my mom for a while but if I get back I'll try to make it.

Yes, we arrive on the lakebed late Sat afternoon, stay up all night wheeling and leave sunday morning.  No tents, we wheel all night.  In the past people have crashed out in their trucks to catch a couple of Z's before driving home.

There will probably be a few wives.

Some people are actually planning on making a weekend out of it, arriving Friday and camping (RV mostly I think) till Sunday.

Did you build that beast? When you say Toy, do you mean Yota?
