EJS 2011 (April 16 - April 24) Moab
« on: September 23, 2010, 01:58:36 PM »
I'm going to Moab in April. I'm totally ok with attending the EJS event, or going up a week or two before or after the EJS event.

October has always been my favorite time to go to Moab. I'm seriously considering a second trip this fall!

Reservation? Hotel/motel or campground? How much? I really want to go to Moab. If work will pick up and I plan for it I might be able to make it happen.
way too many and not enough $$$

I'm booked at the KOA for the entire event. I'll decide later if I'm going to attend the first part or the last part, and change my reservations accordingly.

I will try to get a cabin at the Canyonlands next time I'm in Moab. Campgrounds are cheap, and motels are more expensive. Seems like the cabins are a decent compromise. I'll have to check, but it's just a little bit over $40 a night if I remember correctly. It was cheaper a couple years ago. I'll keep in touch with you. I'm flexible on the dates, but it's going to happen. Later,

John

I can't take much more of this sleep deprivation! I'm up early, late, and inbetween.

A couple links for the EJS event. Check it out. I know it's a zoo, but I'm sure it's a blast to do at least once.

A couple of links regarding lodging rates. I may decide to tent it in the future when I actually own camping gear!

I've decided to go to GSW in June instead of EJS in April. I just changed my KOA reservations to arrive June 9th and depart June 13th. I'll consider EJS next year. As a bonus, it's possible that a Rubicon run will be planned on the way home from Moab!

Jed, I will most likely go to Moab again in September/October, so let me know if you would like to join me.
