4WheelParts Truck Fest
« on: May 29, 2006, 03:03:31 PM »
Jed and I talked about going to this.  Ontario Convention Center (CA) on Sunday June 4.  The info in the link sucks, but it seems like they will have a fair amount of manufacturers/vendors there.  We've never been but it is fairly close by for us so we figure it is worth a try.  Don't know if it would be worth the trip for you OC guys.

I will most likely be in Simi Valley on Sunday. I think I read about this show from last year... The guy and gal from Extreme 4x4 were building up a F150 with pro-comp lift and pre-runner bumpers etc... I could be wrong, but it looked like a pretty cool show if it's what I'm thinking.

Did you boys make it to the Truck Fest? If so, how was it?

I'll post Hanna Flats later... It would help if I woud stop forgetting to look up the info and dial the phone. I just made a note in my planner. ;D

We went.  It was OK.  Pretty much a big 4-wheel parts store with reps/booths from the vendors.  It was cool that you could talk with the vendor reps and look/touch/etc at the products, and there were a few good "show deals" but it was really about them selling stuff.  Not that there is anything wrong with that.  They had a good deal on a winch and some Mastercraft seats that I really wanted.

Don't they usually have a bunch of scantily clad hot women rubbing all over you while you're pulling out the credit card? ;D You can even get a pic if you spend enough dough... :P
