Nice Jed.

There's still some good stuff left on the donor... I see a sticker on the front bumper, and a couple head lights.

I thought you'd take the rear bumper though, or are you building custom bumpers soon.

I see you're going with the good stuff... I'm glad because you're gonna need it come August. I also see that you ain't waisting any time. What sucks though is that I'm going to be gone for a good chunk of July...

By the way, I like Coors Light.

That's what I was just thinking.  Grin Get used to seeing a disabled Toyota being towed around by a Dodge! BTW, it's Coors Light and it had better be cold!

Yes I have a plasma cutter and HUGE TIG welder as well! Both the plasma and the big MIG are the next step above what Bill has.  Yes I have all the good sh*t!   Cool Cool

She was with me when I picked up the lift kits. Asking a guy for his wifes' #  is grounds for an accidental discharge of the 9mm!! Grin

The rear suspension hit the round file tonight. Still have to cut off brackets.  Undecided

BTW, who's going to be installing those gears? I'd offer but then I'm sure you wouldn't trust me to do it. With the bet and all......  Roll Eyes

Did you like the Big Bear pictures? Bet you'll be able to cruise right up John Bull now!

Yeah I like the pics. It brings back memories.  The powerwagon would have done it but the carb needed tweeking for the altitude.  Embarrassed  The efi on the toy will make it easier. Of course the lack of power sucks! But gearing makes up for it! Kinda!! Cheesy

I think that's a great idea for Jed to have a spare set of headlights. The Dodge trucks will be kicking up all sorts of rocks BEHIND us... Grin And we'll need some good light when we hook the straps up to his front bumper.

What gears did you go with Jed? Or is that classified information... Figures I'd get shot the first time getting a girls phone number in a very long time... You could say I'm a little out of practice. Mental note, only ask the single girls for their phone number... Tongue The good news is that I'd probably recover pretty quick from my flesh wound because Dana was a much better shot than you were if I recall... Undecided Grin

The carb will probably be a pain in the butt, especially at that altitude. Thanks for the heads up. You should have kept that under your hat because that might have been your chance for the Dodge to falter.

I'll wait to make reservations... I hope they don't drag their feet during the approval process. Gotta love them HMO's...

Have fun with those brackets.

She ain't no girl, she's married. See why asking for her nuimber is wrong? Besides, we all know just to knock on her window quietly when Jed is in the grage working all night. He'd hear the phone... Grin

How do you think I wore the knee out? Double Burn!!!! Kiss

John has a "Bill Built" thermoquad, he'll do JUST FINE! I'll be running a Q jet (if I make it) so I'll be good too.

Good thing you have a trailer with those gears. What is that about 5,000 rpm at 65 mph? Those squirrels better be on crank! What is the 5th gear ratio on a box of Rice-a-Roni anyways?

I'm in a little bit of pain after laughing so hard. Cry

Are you gonna put a cb in that thing Jed so you can call us for help?

Do you have any spare axle shafts lying around for a D44 (out of an '83 W250) Jed? I figured I should ask before I piss you off too bad with my smack talk.

I guess those squirrels can chomp on your nuts for food until you don't have any nuts left... Huh

5th gear is 0.85 overdrive.  Add some 37" tires (OK, 35's for now  Tongue) to bring the freeway rpm's back down. Grin

That's just around 2,900 at 65 with 35's. That's not too bad. You only get about 150 off for the 37's though.

My Jeep has 35's, 4.56 gears and a 6cyl so 2,500 at 65 was perfect. With the new 360/727 in there it's close to 3,000 rpms. That will be fun! Guess I'll go with a 4:1 T case and 4.10 gears in the 9's. Nah, I'll go with the 4:1 t case and 5.29's then just tow it to come kick you asses. Mopar baby!
