I vote for Dec regardless. Not enough time to test this junk and make sure it's good to go.

Cool, my truck might actually make it then! I just got over being sick for a week and a half so I'm a bit behind on it.

Well here is the bottom line for me. I am going in Nov. without the truck. I won't be able to take the truck out until probably the end of January. This F'N wind just completely rocked my world!!! My fence on the hill blew down. My gate into my backyard blew down.  Shocked    So when it rains it pours. I need to get rid of the Valiant, the `46 pickup, and the `50 plymouth parts cars before I go much farther with anything(need the money for the block wall and gate into the backyard). Yes life sucks at this moment!!  Cry    So we can try and plan to make it out there around the end of january.

Send me pics of the Valiant and I'll see if my co-worker is interested. I know of one other person who lives a ways up I-15 who might be interested as well. I've finally wised up somewhat and realized that I can not possibly even consider getting another project car. I'm just now starting to get things under control with the others, but I'm nowhere near where I need to be.

Are you building the wall, or are you having somebody do it? I can come up and lend a hand if you are building it yourself, but that's an awful lot of blocks I'm sure... My neighbor used to work for a materials supply company and got killer deals on that stuff. Too bad he moved a couple years ago. I'll talk to you later,

John

I'm not sure us OC guys can even get there from here right now without going out the 10 to 86 (4 hours later!). Otherwise I'm up for some fun just hanging out and catching up.

Earl, are you going to Ocatillo?
Jed, are you going to Ocatillo?

I'm inclined to work on my Dodge, Chevy, and XR600 this weekend. It will be Saturday and Sunday only for me if I go. 4 plus hours each way is a bummer.

No Earl. He was finally able to get back up the hill today and he will be finishing up his move this weekend.  I am going to load up right now. I am leaving after work tomorrow. BTW This is after I drive to San Clemente and back home again!! I don't want to hear your 4 hours!

Oh, I wasn't whining... and it's 4.5 hours! Grin I'll give you a call tomorrow before lunch to let you know one way or the other. I want this RC running and stopping Tongue. The rest of the November weekends are slammed.

I don't plan to go out again until my toy is up and running. I get the rest of the parts I am missing at the end of next week.  The neighbor is fixing the fence on the hill for me, so that is handled. I need to finish my trailer as well. That's why I don't think I will be back out until after the first of the year.
